Hello! If we haven’t met yet, my name is Stephanie Whitman. I am a creative professional based in Akron, Ohio. With years of experience in both photography and architectural design, I have honed technical skills that support my passion for art and design. Ultimately, I strive to create work that is not only pragmatic but also inspiring.
My belief is that our environments affect us implicitly. Whether a space is a new construction, alteration, or preservation, there’s an opportunity to create positive growth. Architecture has a unique power to uplift, captivate, and express communities, and so my mission is to make a lasting impact on societal growth through the perspective of well-designed spaces.

My professional journey officially began when I pursued my passion for design at Kent State University where I studied both architecture and visual communication. The combination of both visual communication and architecture is what inspired me to delve into the world of photography with a journalistic approach. While earning my degree in architecture, I developed not only an appreciation for the character of buildings and their impact on the people who experience them but also an attention to detail in the craft of those buildings. In recent years, I’ve continued to explore visual arts in digital and traditional mediums while also balancing architectural design work with a talented team of local architects. When I’m not working, you can find me camping and hiking the great outdoors, painting pet portraits, and trying new recipes.
