Design Overview
This residential extension reflects the natural inner tensions of living bodies. Flexed and stretched points of force are concentrated at acute points to embellish the tensions of proximity. With highly contrasting gestures, we are better able to define and utilize the advantages of programmable spaces. Human behavior will reciprocate the intentions of such spaces.
The Oculi
The convex points indicate locations in which the object can be penetrated by sunlight and provide visual connections between the interior and the exterior. Large volumes exist underneath the large oculi, providing open spaces for reflection.
